Workcamp weeks at
Moon Beach Camp
Landscape and Decks Edition
The spring week will concentrate on landscaping and deck building. We have
received a generous donation of composite decking
and hope to put it to good use by building decks on the Hiawatha and Nokomis
cabins, the new White House (Managing Director’s home), and the boardwalk on the
bog. We also have many landscaping needs that would be perfect for workers of
all ages
and abilities.

Adopt-A-Cabin Edition
This year we are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Moon Beach Camp — and
when we acquired the Moon Beach property
fifty years ago many of these buildings were here! To prepare for the next fifty
years we are setting aside this week to concentrate on refurbishing and updating
a few cabins. We have some “angels” that have already stepped forward to
“adopt-a-cabin” — providing the finances and labor to update a cabin in need. If
you have an interest in participating in this exciting and rewarding week, or
you have a group looking for a mission, then this week is for you.
