Remember how excited you were as a child — anxiously waiting for the first day of kindergarten?

 We hear similar stories from moms and dads who say their four- and five-year-olds can’t wait for the first day they are old enough to go to camp!

At the prompting of these young children we’ve pulled together leadership and resources to create a Mom & Me which is age appropriate for these eager preschoolers! Moms and children will spend time together involved in nature activities, craft projects, games, discussions and more. While there will be some time for moms to gather for informal discussion, much of the time will be spent with their child and other moms and children.

Mom and child will stay in a private room in Oak Mound Lodge, our year ’round retreat center overlooking Green Lake. These accommodations and room arrangements provide privacy and quiet — so a mid-day nap is possible in the midst of the excitement of camp!

These events, which last for three days and two nights, are long enough so first-time campers have enough time to get a real “taste” of camp.

Pack your teddy bear and favorite blanket — and we’ll hope to see mom and new camper at camp!
