Moon Beach Camp Employment Opportunities Moon Beach Camp is located on the shores of Moon Lake and Little St Germain Lake in the heart of Wisconsin's Northwoods approximately 30 miles North of Rhinelander and 8 miles West of Eagle River. The camp is one of two sponsored by the Wisconsin Conference United Church of Christ (UCC). During the summer, the camp provides two weeks of youth camp followed by ten weeks of family camp and we add an additional 8 people to our leadership team. Positions currently available include the following: LIFEGUARD (2) - certified lifeguard responsible for coordinating the swimming and watercraft programs. ASSISTANT COOK - responsible for breakfast preparation works with one kitchen assistant. Also assists with lunch and dinner prep. Alternates every other weekend off. KITCHEN ASSISTANTS (2) - work with the breakfast cook and head chef to assist in all aspects of meal preparation. MAINTENANCE ASSISTANTS (2) - work under t he direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor responsible for all aspects of building and grounds maintenance. NATURALIST - provides educational outdoor programming on site that coordinates with and augments Volunteer Leaders' programming. Also coordinates off-site canoe daytrips. All staff share in the dishwashing rotation and assist with cabin cleaning during our turnovers on Saturday mornings. Compensation starts at $150/wk plus room and board while on site, and is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and certifications (i.e., lifeguard, first responder, EMT, etc.). All staff must be at least 18 yrs. of age. Moon Beach Camp is a great place to spend the summer.
