Daycholah Center

The Camp Chaplain will lead worship and nurture the spiritual life of the camp community through daily vespers and integration of spiritual practices into camp routines. Responsibilities also include implementing and supplementing the spirituality curriculum with a peace-making focus for 2024, offering pastoral care for staff and guests, and promoting peace and justice awareness around local issues relevant to Daycholah Center’s context.
This role involves creating transformative dialogue and experiential encounters to build community, foster belonging, and develop peacemaking skills among campers of all ages. The facilitator will revitalize all-camp games, community initiatives, and cabin life routines to encourage asset-building, communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution in fun and creative ways.
Live on-site from mid-June through mid-August. Spend your summer having adventures at camp with youth! Wages start at $300/week.
Full-time, live on or off-site, mid-June through mid-August. Main duties include managing the waterfront including all lifeguard staff, waterfront activities, sailing, and boating of all kids. Must be Red Cross lifeguard certified and have proven swimming and sailing expertise.
Hourly part- or full-time, live on or off-site, early June through mid-August. Main duties include running and supporting the waterfront including all waterfront activities, sailing, boating, and swimming. Must be Red Cross Lifeguard Certified and have proven waterfront expertise.
Full-time seasonal, hourly position from mid-June through mid-August. Main duties include supporting our Kitchen Manager and other kitchen staff with food planning and service during the breakfast, lunch, and weekend shifts. Must have prior kitchen/cook experience.
Full-time, live on-site from June-August. Spend your summer working in the kitchen, assisting with maintenance and facility upkeep, and providing housekeeping support. Whatever your passions are, we have a place for you as a Daycholah Guest Services Assistant this summer. This is an hourly position.
Part-time, flexible hours varying between 1st and 2nd shifts. Includes weekends and some holidays. Main duties include turning over guest rooms, serving meals, dishwashing, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining hall. Can be year-round. This is an hourly position.
Moon Beach
