Moon Beach Grounds & Facilities

Moon Beach Grounds

From the moment you arrive at Moon Beach, you will be captivated by the smell of the pine trees, the sound of the loons, and the beauty of the clear water and blue sky.

The shore of Moon Lake has a dock, swimming area, lounge chairs, and equipment for getting out on the water. Enjoy kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, or relaxing at the water’s edge.

The grounds contain a variety of nature trails with benches, a labyrinth with a sound garden, and places for activities like sand volleyball, tennis, and softball. Perfectly placed hammocks are a great spot to spend FOB* time.

During quiet moments around camp, you may encounter deer, eagles, loons, and other wildlife. The night sky at Moon Beach offers a phenomenal view of the stars, the Milky Way, shooting stars, and on occasion, the northern lights.

Moon Beach has much to offer in every season. Fall colors peak near the end of September or early October. The snowy winter landscape brings a hush and peaceful quality to everything. And spring comes alive with migrating birds, trilliums, and budding trees.
